 Sourdough for Beginners:
“In this class, I will teach you how to maintain and bake with a sourdough starter. I will discuss the basic terminology and techniques for making sourdough bread. I will go over what tools are needed and explain what tools aren’t necessary but can still be helpful. There will also be time for open discussion with questions and shared knowledge.
You will sample a variety of sourdough products and go home with your very own sourdough starter as well as several great recipes to get you baking.
I will also email links to the lesson slides (at your request) for your future reference and make myself available via social media to answer future questions that arise.
*If you have a digital kitchen scale, I encourage you to bring that with you.
* If you do not have one, I highly recommend purchasing one at your earliest convenience. If you aren’t sure what to buy I will include a link below for the one I use and love. It has actual buttons as opposed to being a touch screen. In the past I used a touch screen and it liked to tare itself out when I was in the middle of weighing things which can be a baking nightmare.
